RomKom (“RomKom”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you visit romkom.com.au, make an enquiry or book a RomKom experience. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us.

Information we collect

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us, and may include:

• your name, email address, phone number and other contact details;

• details about your booking or event, such as dates, times, pick-up and drop-off locations, number of guests and any special requests;

• information you choose to share with us about your occasion, including the names of other people involved;

• payment and billing details (card payments are processed by our third-party payment providers, and we do not store full card numbers);

• messages and correspondence you send us, including through our website forms, email, phone and social media; and

• technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you when you fill in a form on our website, schedule a call, make a booking, contact us or interact with us on social media. Sometimes we receive information from others, for example when someone books an experience on your behalf, or from partner suppliers involved in your booking.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• respond to enquiries and provide quotes;

• confirm, manage and deliver your booking, including coordinating chauffeurs and any add-ons;

• process payments and keep business records;

• send you information about your booking and, with your consent, news and offers from RomKom (you can unsubscribe at any time);

• improve our website and services; and

• meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Photos and content

We may take, or receive from you or our partner photographers, photos and videos of RomKom experiences. We will only use images in which you can be identified on our website, social media or marketing with your consent, and you can ask us to remove them at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

• people and businesses who help us deliver your experience, such as chauffeurs, photographers, celebrants, stylists, florists and other suppliers you choose as add-ons;

• service providers who support our business, such as website hosting, email, scheduling, booking, payment and accounting providers; and

• government agencies, regulators or others where required or permitted by law.

Some of our service providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. Where we use overseas providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information in a way that is consistent with Australian privacy law.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work properly and to understand how visitors use it. You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies, although some parts of the site may not work as intended.

Security and retention
